School officials in Wilton met with parents Monday to discuss the arrest of a former teacher's aide who is facing child pornography charges.
State police arrested Eric Von Kohorn at his apartment in Bridgeport last Wednesday. He worked at Miller Driscoll school for seven years.
Parents say a key concern is whether Von Kohorn made any inappropriate contact with their children. State police investigating Von Kohorn say it doesn't appear he had any contact with students. They say no offenses occurred on campus.
The superintendent says the district hopes the meeting will give parents a clearer picture into the investigation.
School officials say to parents that their children have always been safe and that will continue to be the case.
Parents asked that the district check more closely to confirm whether Von Kohorn inappropriately touched or photographed any student at Miller Driscoll. They also say the district should use the incident as a reason to increase how it monitors their staff.
Von Kohorn will appear in court next week.
