The winner of Stratford's disputed state House election will join lawmakers returning to Hartford Wednesday.
Democrat Phil Young won a state House seat by 13 votes, but 76 people got the wrong ballots.
The state Supreme Court ruled that fellow state lawmakers will decide whether the election was fair.
"The election panel will start up in the next week or two," said Young. "There will be two Democrats and two Republicans on it, and they will present sides and take testimony. Honestly I don't have much to do with it."
The committee must finish investigating by early February. Then the full state House will decide what to do. That chamber is controlled by Democrats.
