A winter storm hit southwestern Connecticut Saturday afternoon and continued through Saturday night as snow changed over to a wintry mix.
The snowfall was steady, though not too heavy. Temperatures in the low 30s and high 20s created icy road conditions Saturday night. Drivers are urged to use caution on the roads for the entire weekend.
Route 7 between Norwalk and Wilton was in good condition through most of the steady snowfall. Plows kept most main roads clear of snow and ice.
