The Witch's Dungeon Classic Movie Museum in Plainville celebrates iconic monster and sci-fi movies year-round.
Curator Cortlandt Hull says he started the museum when he was only 13 years old.
Hull says his great uncle, Henry Hull, was an actor who played the very first werewolf of London in the 1935 film.
Hull says his great love for the classic horror films as well as the actors and the makeup artists made his museum a reality.
The museum features recreated scenes of the classic horror and science-fiction films, from Vincent Price, Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi and many others.
Visitors are going to encounter Lugosi as Count Dracula, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary of the film this year.
Another visitor-favorite at the museum is Karloff as the Frankenstein monster.
Hull says the Frankenstein film is also celebrating its 90th anniversary this year.
The Witch’s Dungeon is open weekend evenings.
