Some Bronx residents trying to make ends meet are outraged at the way they were treated Monday at the Crotona Job Center.
Those who waited to get inside say the building was so crowded that the fire department had to be called. One man says once everyone vacated the building, they weren?t let back inside.
The job center is designed to help people who are currently unemployed and in need of financial assistance.
Some who waited outside say they were told to come back another day, but they worry their case files will be closed.
The Human Resources Administration says it has been experiencing a high volume of traffic and is attempting to manage its flow so visitors are served promptly and safely.
