The woman accused in a 2002 Stamford murder is being held on $1 million bond after finally facing a Connecticut judge Tuesday.

Police say Sheila Davalloo?s arraignment at Stamford Superior Court was a long time coming. A warrant for her arrest was issued last year for the murder of Anna-Lisa Raymundo. However, Davalloo has been in a New York prison after she was convicted of attempting to murder her husband in 2003.

Davalloo was extradited to Connecticut Monday to face a judge in the Raymundo murder.

Police say Davalloo stabbed 32-year-old Raymundo 20 times after the two became involved in a love triangle with a co-worker at Stamford-based Purdue Pharma.

Investigators say they have compiled more than 3,700 pages of notes in the case. Davalloo is due back in court in early 2009.
