A woman is facing prostitution charges in Shelton for allegedly trying to sell sex to an undercover police officer.
Investigators say Tammra Emmons was arrested yesterday after she arranged to meet with the officer at a local hotel.
They say Emmons was carrying crack and other drug paraphernalia.
Police say her arrest was part of a long investigation into prostitution at local hotels.
