Woman charged with animal cruelty in Norwalk

Norwalk police say a woman is facing animal cruelty charges.  Police say they arrested Amanda Calabrese, 26, after fire officials went to her home on Ohio Avenue for a broken water pipe on Friday.

Norwalk police say a woman is facing animal cruelty charges. 
Police say they arrested Amanda Calabrese, 26, after fire officials went to her home on Ohio Avenue for a broken water pipe on Friday. 
Officials say they found a cat and dog who had been left alone for two weeks without food or water and living in horrible conditions.
Authorities say Animal Control determined the home was unfit for the animals.
