A woman gave birth to twins on the Cross Bronx Expressway Wednesday morning.
Fire officials say they got word around 11:40 a.m. of a woman in labor near the Rosedale Avenue exit. FDNY members and good Samaritans helped with the delivery.
Anisha Crockett, 30, and her two healthy newborns were taken from bumper-to-bumper traffic to Jacobi Medical Center.
The twins are a boy and a girl.
Their names are Tavon and Talisha, respectively.
