Woman killed in wrong-way crash in Wallingford
Connecticut state police say a woman driving the wrong way on Interstate 91 was killed in a head-on crash in Wallingford.
It happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to authorities, Concetta Getman, 77, of Meriden, was driving north in the southbound lane when a car struck her vehicle.
The other driver, Sachin V. Patel, 41, and his passenger, Sahil Patel, 16, both of Watertown, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
