A Woodbridge animal control officer has her job back.
The law firm representing Karen Lombardi says the state dropped larceny and animal cruelty charges against her this week.
Lombardi had been on paid leave after allegations surfaced that she slammed a dog against the wall and improperly used vouchers for neutering.
Officials say the town reinstated Lombardi at the beginning of this month, even before the case was officially dismissed.
