The Woodbridge Regional Animal Control is asking for the public's help Wednesday.
They say three female pit bulls were spotted on Woodfield Road Monday night.
The animals were checked out by a local vet who says the three dogs are very underweight and were suffering from open wounds.
The vet said that the dogs won't be available for adoption until they recover.
Woodbridge Animal Control asks that anyone with info on suspicious activity around Woodfield Road please contact them.
