Paddleboarding is usually a relaxing activity, but things are a bit more intense at Long Beach this week.

For the first time ever, the Association of Paddle Boarding Professionals brought their tour to Long Island.

The tour has competitors from across the world, including Australia, Portugal, Denmark, England, Brazil and Chile.

Eight-time world champion Kai Lenny is part of the competition, and offered some tips on how to compete.

"There's a big dynamic doing all the maneuvers, the tricks -- really what it comes down to is how much more you want it then someone else," says Lenny.
