The Wreaths Across America convoy made a special pit stop in Norwalk on Tuesday.
The annual “Escort to Arlington” kicked off on Dec. 6, with planned stops between Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Jersey.
Volunteers from all over the country travel to the Arlington National Cemetery, where they lay wreaths in remembrance of fallen loved ones who have served the United States.
There were 14 eighteen-wheelers assisted by state and local police as they arrived at the St. Ann Club for the celebratory night. Afterward, they will continue south, with Arlington as the convoy/s final destination this Saturday.
