Rakuten reviewed Google search data during a study to find out which gifts were most searched for in each state.
Sony’s Playstation 5 is the most in-demand Christmas gift in America, as the most searched for in 13 states. The Nintendo Switch console came in as the second most-sought after gift at 10 states.
The third-most searched for gift was the iPad, at seven states.
The Dyson Airwrap proved to be the most in-demand item in Alabama, New York, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The item has gone viral on TikTok over the last year, with the hashtag #DysonAirwrap amassing 3.2 billion views on the platform.
The Apple MacBook was the most in-demand item in two states. Apple Watch, Oculus headset, and the Samsung Galaxy watch are also among popular searches.
