The Yerwood Center in Stamford has recently transformed itself from a community center to a place devoted to helping victims of Hurricane Sandy's destruction.

The center has turned the old storage rooms into food pantries for those who have no food and have stocked racks full of clothes for those looking to find work following the disaster.

The Yerwood Center is continuing to accept food, clothing and monetary donations for people affected by Sandy.
