With today's sunny, dry and windy weather we will continue the elevated risk for fires to spread across the Hudson Valley. Even small sparks could grow quickly, so it’s important to avoid outdoor burning and use extra caution. The statewide burn ban remains in effect through May 14th.

Temperatures today will reach the low 70s and tomorrow will hit 80 degrees under a good amount of sunshine.

Looking ahead to Wednesday into Thursday, we'll see rounds of rain and a few thunderstorms. Periods of heavier rain are possible, so it’s something to keep an eye on as the week progresses.
