An aggressive chicken hawk caused injuries to two people in Bridgeport in a single day.

One victim was a driver making deliveries. Officials say the hawk landed on his head, causing lacerations.

Shortly after, another man was attacked and suffered cuts to his leg. Both men were taken to a hospital.

The bird was captured Tuesday afternoon by the state environmental police department.

Experts say attacks on humans are rare, but they do occur when a bird feels a nest is threatened.
