Officials in southwestern Connecticut are advising residents take steps to stay healthy and safe during the expected heat this weekend.
Stamford officials say there are plenty of designated cooling centers across the city, including the Government Center and the Glenbrook Community Center.
They also suggest drinking plenty of fluids and staying indoors if possible.
