MTA rolls out eTix app along Metro-North's Hudson Line
The MTA has introduced a mobile app ticket program to make it more convenient for passengers.
The eTix app service, which eliminates the need for a paper ticket, is currently only available on Metro-North's Hudson Line and the Long Island Rail Road's Port Washington Branch.
The MTA is planning to roll out the service on the New Haven line by the end of the summer.
The app is currently available for iPhones and Android devices.
