Some Norwalk parents rallied Friday in support of West Rocks Middle School Vice Principal Joseph Devellis.

Devellis is reportedly meeting with district officials about possibly being reassigned.

The parents recently held a similar rally for the school's principal, who they think is also on the verge of being removed from West Rocks.

"I think it's important for the community to come together because it really seems that the board of education, central office doesn't have the best interest of the students in mind," says Diane Tullio, of Norwalk. "Taking out Dr. Moore, Mr. Devellis would really be a disservice not only to the students but to the community itself."

News 12 has not heard back from the Norwalk superintendent's office.
