Sunday will mark one month since the brother of News 12 Connecticut's Frank Recchia was last seen.
On Friday, Peter Recchia's family gave an update on their search at the corner of State and Ferry streets, his last known location.
Peter Recchia's daughter Bunny Rodriguez announced they have accepted help from two private investigators -- Nico Padilla and Mark Schachter, who run Investigative Consultants LLC in East Haven.
They will work pro bono along with Middletown police to gather information, and then back track Peter Recchia's last steps.
"We don't make any promises, as I told Bunny. We will give 150%, I don't promise anything to any of my clients because they will look at me like I have two heads," says Schachter.
The duo has worked on multiple missing persons cases in the past.
