Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says thunderstorms and heavy showers are expected for Connecticut on Monday.

NOW: It's hot! Temps close to 90, humidity making it feel like it's 90 as we go into the early evening. Quiet tonight - clouds collect. Warm & humid. Stay shower after sunset? Into overnight possibly.
NEXT: Cold front approaches for tomorrow. Showers and embedded t-storms likely from late morning thru the day. From NW to SE.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says thunderstorms and heavy showers are expected for Connecticut on Monday.
Storms will have locally heavy rain. Most likely NOT severe, but of course thunder and lightning. Cold front ushers in drier and cooler conditions by tomorrow night.
PLEASANT TUESDAY
HEAT returns late week
WATCHING for storms next weekend (especially Saturday, could be rough)
Tonight clouds will collect and some showers towards early Monday morning. Lows around 70.
Monday: Mostly cloudy, on and off showers, even a PM strong storm, highs around 80.  
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, great feel! Highs around 80.
Wednesday: A September like day with low humidity and sunshine. Highs around 80.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and warmer. Highs between 83 and 88.
Friday: Mostly sunny with a chance of a late day storm. Highs in the lower 90's.
Saturday: Sun and clouds with a chance of an afternoon storm. Highs around 90.
