One firefighter was evaluated for minor injuries after responding to an apartment building fire in Bedford Park Thursday morning.

The incident was reported just after 4:30 a.m. on the top floor of a five-story building.

Over 100 fire and EMS personnel arrived at the scene. Tenants of the building were forced out into the cold

"I just heard the firetrucks coming and that's all I heard and then I just ran outside," says one tenant who lives on the second floor.

There is now a vacate order for 15 apartments.
