One hundred children were vaccinated for the H1N1 virus at the Center of Advanced Pediatrics in Norwalk Saturday.
Several doctors say the H1N1 virus is just as dangerous as the seasonal flu for children under the age of five. It is much harder for children in that age group to fend off the H1N1 virus.
Parents brought their children to be vaccinated on first come, first serve basis. According to Dr. Mark Vincent, children between the ages of two and five are given intra-nasal vaccines.
Vincent says he will be receiving additional shipments of the vaccine about every two weeks.
