Long Islanders came together to bring holiday cheer to our troops overseas.

Monday marked the 16th annual Trees for Troops at Dee's Nursery in Oceanside.

Organizers say this is a way they can support service members and show how much they are appreciated.

The holiday spruces will be delivered to Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait and Bahrain.
