The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed two students at Fairfield University have tested positive for the swine flu.
Associate Vice President and Dean of Students Tom Pellegrino says they got the confirmation on the two students Tuesday, but are still awaiting results on five other probable cases of swine flu.
He says all the students are back to normal activities, which means preparing for finals.
Pellegrino says all seven cases were mild and reacted well to treatment. He says the five students with probable cases also are fully recovered, and adds he does not know when their tests results will come in.
