Two people were injured in a Bridgeport house fire, officials say.
The fire happened Wednesday on Hallett Street around 9 p.m.
The fire was put out after 10 p.m., but crews remained at the scene Thursday morning.
A portion of Hallett Street remains blocked off.
Smoke and flames were seen billowing out of the top floor of the home, and firefighters from Stratford were called in to help knock down the fire.
Officials say crews found two people on the ground in front of the home with injuries consistent with a fall. They were taken to the hospital.
The Red Cross has been called in to help those who've been displaced.
