The families of two of the children killed in the Sandy Hook school shooting are suing the town of Newtown and its school board.
The wrongful death suit alleges security was not adequate.
The plaintiffs are the parents of Jesse Lewis and Noah Pozner.
The suit claims the classroom doors could only be locked from the outside.
It also argues that the shooter, Adam Lanza, was able to get into the locked building by shooting his way through a large glass window next to the locked front doors.
Lanza killed 20 students and six educators before shooting himself two years ago.
The town attorney declined to comment on the suit.
