At least two people were injured Tuesday during a double tractor-trailer crash on I-95 in Fairfield.

Fairfield fire officials say the crash happened on I-95 northbound between exits 18 and 19.  

At least two people were transported to Bridgeport Hospital with trauma alerts.

Over a dozen firefighters were called to the scene for a significant fuel oil spill to apply absorbent material and to prevent any environmental damage to sensitive waterways.

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection was notified and responded to the scene.
