Two students are facing charges for their roles in the recorded beating of another student at Norwalk High School.
Police say a 16-year-old came up and punched a 14-year-old in the back of the head, causing him to fall against the wall and onto the floor last Thursday.
They say the 15-year-old student who recorded the 13-second cellphone video was charged with conspiracy. The student who allegedly threw the punch is facing assault and breach of peace charges.
Police say this kind of behavior is not common at the school and that it will not be tolerated. They are not identifying any of those involved because they are juveniles.
The video was not publicly released because it is being used as evidence.
The school did not comment on the incident or the video.
