CT Lottery says a $1 million Powerball winning ticket was sold at Wheels on Old Gate Lane in Milford Wednesday.

The Powerball number was 24, and the Power Play multiplier was 2.
The winner has until Jan. 15 to claim the ticket.
Wednesday night's jackpot was $1.08 billion. The jackpot winning ticket was sold in California.
This is the second million-dollar ticket sold this week in the state. The first was sold on Monday at the Fort Hill Citgo LLC in Groton.
