Fairfield Warde's Emmy Carley is this week's News 12 Connecticut Scholar Athlete presented by Colonial Toyota.
The senior is captain of both the girls basketball and soccer teams at Warde.
She's a high honors student who is always there for her fellow athletes.
Carley is part of Morgan's Message, a student athlete mental health organization at school.
Her advice to student athletes is to stay positive.
"I'm just so thankful for the high school career that I've had, not only when it comes to my academics, but also athletics. I've learned so much from my coaches, my teammates. I've been given so much through my sports and I'm so thankful for that. Warde is such a great community," Carley said.
Fairfield Warde hosts Greenwich in the first round of the CIAC girls basketball state tournament this Monday.
