A woman who was struck by a vehicle in Bridgeport Friday was critically injured, police say.

It happened at the intersection of Park and Bentham Avenues at 6 a.m.

Officials did not provide any information on what led to the accident.

The woman was transported to the hospital, and the incident is under investigation.
