A Bridgeport man was arrested in connection to the 2022 murder of a resident outside a downtown bar on Fairfield Avenue.

Kenneth Joyner, 34, is the second person to be arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of 29-year-old Dominique Jones.

The shooting happened in October 2022 outside Murphy’s Law bar and restaurant.

Joyner's bail was set at $1.5 million, and he is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.

Joyner’s accomplice, 40-year-old Joseph DeJesus, was the first person arrested for murder in the case.

Police said the second arrest was the result of years of investigation.
