Police say three people beat up and tried to rob a man outside the Avalon Apartment Complex on Belden Avenue Wednesday night.
Police say Allan Lyle, Ashley Walls and Marzetta Williams attacked a man who was walking along a path between the complex and the Norwalk River.
Just weeks ago, a man was shot and killed on the same walkway.
Now, residents say they are scared to come home.
