Four southwestern Connecticut post offices are in danger of being closed or consolidated after the United States Postal Service placed them under review.
A USPS spokesperson says the proposal could save the agency millions of dollars. The spokesperson adds that the USPS is trying to save money because of technological advances that are eating into its revenue.
Officials say two of the post offices under review are in Bridgeport and the other two are in Stamford.
