A man is in stable condition after he was struck by a car on East Tremont Avenue in the Bronx, according to police.
They say it happened around 5 a.m. near Castle Hill Avenue.
Police say the 40-year-old man was walking in or near the crosswalk when he was hit by a car, but it remains unclear if he had the right of way.
The man sustained a head injury and a bruised hip, according to police. He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center.
Police say no arrests have been made and they are still investigating.
