Desmond's Army is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for abandoning a pregnant pitbull in Waterbury.
The dog, now named Cassie, was found alone in the rain and tied to a sign Sunday near Cherry Street.
Cassie was in labor at the time. None of the puppies survived.
Desmond’s Army Animal Law Advocates are seeking to identify the individual.
