A well-known carpet store in the Bronx is closing shop.
ABC Carpet and Home on Bronx River Avenue has been in business for years, according to customers.
Sixty-five employees learned that they would be out of work after receiving a June 14 notification. The store is expected to cease operations on June 30.
The company says it is "no longer strategically viable" to operate the Bronx warehouse, according to published reports.
