Hundreds of people lined up in Norwalk Thursday for a drive-up food bank until the food ran out.
The Connecticut Food Bank served between 1,500 and 2,000 families at Veterans Park in Norwalk.
"Knowing that we have people that are hurting like this, it really is heartbreaking," said Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling.
The Connecticut Food Bank says as long as people keep donating, they'll keep handing out food.
"I need everything, I have three kids at home," said Celeste Luck. "This is a great blessing."
