AAA is giving tips on how to prepare your car for the cold as the temperature outside starts to drop.
The association suggests checking your headlights and taillights, and to replace any bulbs if they're burnt out.
It also says to check for tire pressure on all four tires and your spare, because as the temperature plummets - so will tire pressure.
The association suggests making sure your battery is fully charged and in good condition, and to also check that your brakes are working properly.
It says to fill the windshield washer fluid reservoir with a cleaning solution that has antifreeze components to prevent it from freezing.
AAA also suggests having a cold weather emergency kit - with items like hats, scarves, gloves, blankets, a flashlight and jumper cables.
