About 60 students have been temporarily displaced after a fire within a Central Connecticut State University residence hall on Monday.
Authorities say the fire broke out on the first floor of James Hall shortly after 6 p.m.
The school transported many of the students to a nearby hotel just before 10 p.m.
Authorities say that nobody was hurt and all students are safe and accounted for.
There is no word on what caused the fire.
