The man accused of killing a construction worker in Bridgeport last week was in court yesterday.
The family of Jose Araujo wept openly when Gregory Weathers was arraigned.
Police say Weathers shot Araujo at a work site on Chopsey Hill Road last Thursday.
Weathers reportedly told police afterward that he was "settling a labor dispute" with Araujo.
Police say Weathers walked up to the site and asked for a job, then came back later and shot Araujo five times.
Weathers is being held on $1 million bond.
