Actress Lisa Banes succumbs to injuries suffered in NYC scooter collision

Actress Lisa Banes was killed in a hit-and-run scooter collision in Manhattan.
The incident happened on June 4 when Banes was struck at the intersection of West 64th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
Officers found the 65-year-old actress in the roadway with severe head trauma.
Emergency Medical Services responded to the location and transported the victim to Mount Sinai Saint Luke's Hospital.
Banes was attempting to cross the street when a scooter went through a red traffic signal and struck her. He then fled.
Banes was pronounced dead on June 14.
She was known for her work in "Gone Girl" and "Cocktail."
