A Florida man is facing charges after he was allegedly caught in the act robbing a Milford bank.

Police say Stephen Brill, 53, was spotted leaving the Milford Bank on Bridgeport Avenue yesterday with cash in his hands.

Investigators say he told a teller he had a gun and demanded money.

According to police, a bank customer overheard the threat, left the building and told two police officers who were on private construction duty in the area who were able to arrest Brill as he left the bank.
