Police are looking for the suspect or suspects who set fire to four vacant homes in Bridgeport on Christmas Eve.
Fire officials say the first fire broke out on Olive Street at around 1:45 p.m. Monday. Subsequent fires broke out the same day on Madison Court and Center, George and Olive streets.
Authorities say a homeless man was found dead inside the Madison Court building. The body has not yet been identified, but neighbors say he was squatting in the empty building.
Authorities say they have good reason to believe the fires are the work of an arsonist or arsonists because each building was vacant, located in the same area and set on fire within a few hours of each other.
Officials say a firefighter was injured battling one of the fires.
