A pioneer in the world of audio and video and Connecticut native is being remembered after he drowned when suffering a heart attack in a New York lake over the weekend.
The Redding man won international recognition for building popular home theater systems, valued at $6 million, known as the Kipnis Studio Standard
Kipnis also wrote articles and owned a recording label. He met his wife Carolina in the 1980s.
A memorial for Kipnis is scheduled for Labor Day weekend.
