Another Connecticut correction officer was assaulted on the job - the fourth since last week.
This incident happened at New Haven Correction Center Wednesday night.
Authorities say an inmate punched an officer in the chest while being admitted from another facility.
They say two officers who responded were injured but chose to stay on duty.
Three Connecticut correction officers were attacked last week. Two were stabbed by an inmate with a sharpened toothbrush at Garner Correctional Institution in Newtown, and one officer was punched at Cheshire Correctional Institution.
