A bank robbery prompted a lockdown at a Milford middle school Wednesday afternoon.
Police say a man walked into the Webster Bank on Merwin Avenue at around 2:30 p.m. and demanded money. Police say he did not display a weapon in the robbery.
Nearby East Shore Middle School was locked down as police searched for the suspect. Students were released from school shortly after the lockdown began.
